Ballet is a great way to dance 4 fitness and an exercise people from all ages can practice. Ballet can help improve flexibility, posture, strength, core stability, and to lengthen muscles. It is also an excellent way to develop poise, fitness and co-ordination.

Think about this for a moment. Have you ever seen a ballet dancer who wasn’t lean and toned? Can you support your body weight on your tiptoes for longer than a few seconds? Ballet dancers know how to improve their fitness.

Considered a form of high art, ballet goes beyond your average dance class. However, whether you’re a ballerina or a complete dancing beginner, it still has a number of health and fitness benefits.

Ballet dancing has many benefits, in addition to those already associated with dance exercise. Benefits of ballet include the following:

Ballet helps develop streamlined muscles - Ballet requires strong upper and lower body strength, especially in core muscles. Regular ballet exercise will build up key muscle groups over time, streamlining and strengthening them so they become nice and toned. Ballet exercises require a strong core, which are your stomach, back, hips and pelvic muscles. A strong core helps protect your lower back from injury, keeps your posture in alignment and can give your abs a tight, flat appearance.

Ballet helps your flexibility - Strong ankles and knees are required to deal with the immense physical pressures of ballet dancing. Taking part in regular ballet sessions will soon lead your joints to become stronger.

Ballet helps improving posture - This style of dance is just great for straightening out your back and forcing you to dance in an upright position. This will also help you improve your posture while you are at work or watching TV at home.

Toned>Thick

Next person that tells me I’m too skinny can go fuck themselves.

Just because I’m thin, doesn’t mean I don’t have power. I could dance circles around any of those “thick” bitches you drool over so damn much.

Ignorant pieces of shit.
